About the Founder
Sharnee' Woods-Summers founded Summer's Dance Center LLC, and Model Inc in June 2012. Relocating from Philadelphia, Pa to Delaware County and back to Philadelphia,Pa as her new home. She served as honorary choreographer for Youth in Movement (YIM), an organization she established in 2005. She founded Model Inc. in 2014 a year later after she started Summer's Dance Center LLC. She was a member of the dance company "Koresh Dance Company" in Philadelphia, PA. As well as a member of the L&L Dance Productions in Philadelphia, PA. She was described as an "creative innovator," by director of Methodist Services for Families and Children Services. Mrs. Woods-Summers has made significant contributions to the national Homeless community through her artistic talents and craft and various creative and performing arts communities.

In 2012, Mrs. Woods-Summers was honored as one of the lead choreographers for a dance ensemble at the Dell East Music Center, performing in front of 5,000 people , in tribute to the recovering community. In 2005, The Rock School of Arts acknowledged her to be apart of their organization as a rock school dancer. In 2009 she received the prestigious Philadelphia Youth Award, and November 2010 she was declared a "Shining Star ". Mrs. Woods-Summers was chosen as one of the 2013 Dance honorees "for her extraordinary artistic guidance, her leadership of many dancers and choreographers. With her visionary leadership, and grace under fire in the dance field." Sharnee' Woods-Summers undisputed status as a leader in the national and international arts communities was acknowledged when she was selected to receive the 2012 National Certificate of the Arts, the communities honorary for excellence in the arts. Leading up to today Sharnee` Woods-Summers makes sure her first priority is giving her all to the company she built from the ground up flourishes. Now expanding itself to multiple locations and taking on the role of two astonishing programs. As she continues to study, teach, and inspire the youth she will always make sure Summer's Dance Center LLC, blossoms in every perspective.
